The September Full Blood Moon is here, and wow… she’s coming in strong.
Even though we won’t see the eclipse (it’ll be hidden from our North American skies), we’ll definitely feel it. Even though we are not able to watch her turn red, her energy will be touching every part of us.
The moon always has a way of working her magic, seen or unseen.
This Full Corn Moon feels like a big exhale. A release. A chance to drop the heavy stuff we’ve been carrying and step into something lighter, freer, more aligned with who we actually are.
Think of this full moon as a call to surrender... to let go of what no longer feeds you. It’s about truth, clarity, and transformation. With the eclipse energy woven in, there’s this extra nudge to trust that endings are sacred, disguised beginnings.
Word of the moon: LIBERATION. (Simply saying the word out loud feels sooooo good!)
Here are some of the elements supporting me that you may want to incorporate:
Crystals:
Labradorite for transformation + intuitive guidance
Smoky Quartz for letting go of fear and heaviness
Rose Quartz for softening into compassion and self-love
Oils and Herbs:
Mugwort → dreamwork + intuition
Sage → clearing old energy
Cedarwood oil → grounding + steadying
Rose oil → tender self-love
Rituals to choose from:
1. Release Fire Ritual
Write down what you’re done carrying.
Light a candle.
Burn your list safely, whispering: “I release what is no longer mine to carry. I rise in liberation.”
Bury the ashes in the earth.
2. Eclipse Dream Ritual
Slip mugwort or lavender under your pillow with a crystal (labradorite or smoky quartz).
Set an intention for clarity before sleep.
In the morning, jot down dreams, symbols, or feelings that came through.
I love weaving women into my monthly ceremonies. So many of their stories have been forgotten or demonized over the years... Here are three to learn about this month!

Persephone: Persephone is the goddess who journeys into the underworld each year, reminding us that descent is part of the cycle of life. She teaches us that even in darkness, seeds are planted and transformation is quietly happening. Her story is one of rebirth, resilience, and the wisdom that comes from walking between worlds.
Kali Ma: Kali Ma is the fierce mother goddess who clears away illusion and fear, making space for truth to rise. Though her energy can feel wild and intense, she is ultimately the liberator, breaking chains and protecting what is sacred. She invites us to face what must end so that new life can flourish.
Sojourner Truth: Sojourner Truth was a courageous abolitionist and women’s rights advocate who spoke with unwavering strength. She reclaimed her voice in a time when women, especially Black women, were silenced, and she used it to ignite change. Her legacy is a living mantra of courage, justice, and the power of truth-telling.
A magical mantra to weave into your days:
“I release with love, I rise in alignment, I walk in freedom.”
Journal prompts to inspire reflection...
What weight am I finally ready to set down?
Where am I being called to walk more in truth?
How can I honor both the endings and the new beginnings unfolding now?
Beloved, this moon isn’t asking for perfection... She’s asking you to let go of what’s heavy and trust that freedom is waiting on the other side.
Even though we can’t see her eclipse, we’re still in it.
We’re still shifting.
You’re aligned, you’re awakening, and you’re free.
With love under this moon,
