Today, on the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene, I invite you to slow down for just a little while...

Take a deep breath. Place your hand over your heart. Allow yourself to remember Mary as she has always been... a beloved disciple, a courageous teacher, a faithful witness, and a radiant expression of Divine Love.

Mary Magdalene remained when others walked away. She stood faithfully at the foot of the cross when so many had scattered. She became the first witness to the Resurrection and was entrusted with carrying the Good News, earning the beautiful title, Apostle to the Apostles.

Her story is more than one of devotion. It is a story of extraordinary courage, steadfast love, and the quiet strength that comes from trusting the voice of the Divine.

For centuries, her legacy was misunderstood, rewritten, and overshadowed. Yet somehow, her light has never diminished. If anything, it continues to shine more brightly as more of us remember her as a devoted disciple, a courageous spiritual teacher, and a living embodiment of the Sacred Feminine.

To me, Mary Magdalene is more than someone to admire...

Rhodonite spoke of healing, gently encouraging old wounds to soften so forgiveness, compassion, and grace can bloom where pain once lived.

Garnet carried the steady energy of courage, inviting us to stand firmly in our truth with devotion, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Finally, Clear Quartz reflected the candlelight dancing around the room, reminding me that prayer, intention, and love are always amplified when they are offered with an open heart.

As I looked at these four crystals together, I realized they formed their own sacred path...

Love... Rose Quartz.

Healing... Rhodonite.

Courage... Garnet.

Divine Light... Clear Quartz.

Perhaps that was Mary’s journey. Perhaps it is ours, too.

Resting quietly beside them was my raw Amethyst heart... a simple reminder that wisdom is never meant to remain in the mind alone. It longs to descend into the heart, where it can become compassion, courage, and love in action.

The gentle aroma of Rose and Frankincense completed the space, each carrying its own sacred invitation... to love more deeply, to pray more openly, to surrender more completely, and to trust the quiet work of transformation unfolding within.
