  • A Glimmer on Friday the 13th

Beloved, Something delightful happened… and I couldn’t wait to tell you. A couple of weeks ago, I received a message on LinkedIn from journalist Juliet La Sala at The Washington Times . She was writing a piece about Friday the 13th and wanted to include a perspective on its connection to the divine feminine. You can imagine my smile. Friday the 13th. The Divine Feminine. Reclamation. It was an immediate soul-level, holy yes. She sent her questions in advance: How can people reclaim Friday the 13th instead of seeing it as a day of misfortune? How is the day connected to the divine feminine in ancient traditions? How can reclaiming the divine feminine shape our future? I was intrigued that these questions were being asked by a conservative publication. I loved that this conversation is widening. I sent in my answers… and then today, the article came out. ( You can read it here. ) I included my full answers at the end of this glimmer-filled note. And here is the part that made my smile sparkle even brighter. It opens with Taylor Swift and her love of the number 13. She was born on the 13th. She turned 13 on a Friday the 13th. She has claimed it as her lucky number for years. I had no idea she would be part of the piece. So imagine my delight seeing my quotes in the same article as Taylor Swift. While I am not a full-blown Swifty, I absolutely appreciate her creative courage and the way she unapologetically owns what feels powerful to her. There was something beautiful about that pairing. Her reclaiming 13 in pop culture. My perspective on 13 as our sacred feminine rhythm. In the middle of everything happening in the world right now… the systems flaring and old paradigms crackling on the bonfire burning the patriarchy down… finding joy like this feels divinely aligned. It feels like a glimmer, and I love glimmers. A glimmer is that small flicker that lifts you. The moment that makes you pause and smile. The sign that whispers, pay attention. For decades, 11 has been one of my glimmers. It still is. It shows up when alignment is near. It reminds me to stay awake and receptive. And now 13 feels like an added layer. An expansion. A sacred circle widening. Something sacred added …. that feels important. If you feel called to celebrate today, let it be easy. You can pause to light a candle, place your hand over your heart, and take three slow breaths. Quietly acknowledge what feels complete, then welcome what is ready to emerge. If journaling calls to you, here are a few gentle prompts: What belief or pattern feels complete in my life right now? Where am I being invited to trust my intuition more deeply? How can I let this day serve as a portal for alignment and renewal? Friday the 13th can be a day of fear, or it can be a day of reclamation. You get to choose. And today, I am choosing joy. Oh, and here is one more delicious piece of timing… a cosmic kiss, if you will. 2026 does not just have one Friday the 13th. It has three. February 13. March 13. November 13. Three is the maximum possible in a calendar year. Most years offer one or two, with an average of about 1.7 per year... and you can never have more than three. This rare trio happens when a year begins on a Thursday in the Gregorian calendar, which is exactly how 2026 unfolded. The last time we experienced three Friday the 13ths was in 2015. And here is the part that gave me chills. 2015 was eleven years ago. ELEVEN! The next time this rare Trinity of 13s returns will be in 2037. Eleven  years from now. Three 13s… held inside an 11-year portal . If you know me, you know 11 has been woven into my life and work for decades. My alignment number. My ignition. My glimmer. So seeing this sacred “13” year framed by 11 on both sides feels exquisitely woven. This is not 13 replacing 11 for me… it is an enhancement, and an expansion. Some patterns are coincidental, and some feel divinely timed. This year feels like a blessing, and choosing to see blessings right now feels sacred. So let me ask you… What is your glimmer? What flicker of light keeps showing up for you? What invites you to lift your gaze and soften your shoulders? Follow it. Let it guide you. Let it remind you that magic still moves. Wrapping you in divine feminine glimmers, Find additional posts about Friday the 13th here. Photo by Thomas Scheiner  on Unsplash Here are my full answers to Juliet's questions... 1. How can people reclaim Friday the 13th instead of seeing it as a day of misfortune? Reclaiming Friday the 13th begins by meeting the day with intention rather than expectation. Instead of absorbing the collective narrative of fear, people can choose to slow down, turn inward, and treat the day as a sacred pause. One simple way to reclaim it is through a gentle ritual. This does not need to be elaborate. Lighting a candle, placing a hand over the heart, and taking a few conscious breaths can immediately shift the energy. The intention is to acknowledge cycles, honor what is completing, and welcome what is ready to emerge. Friday the 13th is especially supportive for reflection and release. It carries an invitation to soften, listen, and reconnect with intuition. When approached this way, the day becomes grounding rather than ominous, restorative rather than unsettling. Journaling is another powerful way to work with the day's energy. A few thoughtful questions can transform fear into clarity. Gentle journal prompts for Friday the 13th: What belief, habit, or pattern feels complete in my life right now? Where am I being invited to trust my intuition more deeply? What would it feel like to see this day as protective and supportive rather than unlucky? By consciously engaging with Friday the 13th, people reclaim their relationship with the day and uncertainty itself. The moment fear loosens its grip, the day reveals itself as a doorway to alignment, presence, and quiet empowerment. 2. How is Friday the 13th connected to the divine feminine in ancient traditions? In many ancient cultures, Friday was associated with feminine deities, love, beauty, fertility, and creation. The number 13 was linked to lunar cycles, cyclical time, and womb wisdom. Together, they honored life as a rhythm rather than a straight line. As patriarchal systems expanded, feminine-led spiritual traditions were diminished or erased. Intuition, embodiment, and cyclical ways of knowing were reframed as irrational or threatening. Misogyny did more than silence women… it disrupted humanity’s relationship with balance, compassion, and the natural world. The fear surrounding Friday the 13th is a symptom of this larger imbalance. At its core, the day is not dark, it is deep. It carries the memory of a time when feminine wisdom guided communities through harmony with nature, relationships, and shared responsibility. 3. How can reclaiming the divine feminine shape our future? Reclaiming divine feminine power is about restoring balance where dominance and control have ruled for too long. Much of the unrest we see in the world today stems from systems built on hierarchy rather than connection, productivity over wellbeing, and power over empathy. When feminine energy and values are suppressed, societies lose their ability to nurture, listen, and heal. Embracing a more matriarchal way of living does not mean women ruling over others; it means leading with compassion, intuition, collaboration, and care for future generations. It means honoring rest as productive, emotions as intelligent, and relationships as foundational. The future becomes more prosperous when leadership is rooted in empathy. More sustainable when decisions are guided by intuition and wisdom, not fear. More humane when we remember that strength and softness were never meant to be opposites. Celebrating the feminine is not about going backward; it is about evolving forward, into a world that values wholeness, balance, and shared humanity.

  • Honoring Brigid’s Day & the Full Snow Moon | A Sacred Weekend of Light

Hello moon lover, There is something stirring in the ethers this weekend... a soft, powerful pull toward the sacred. On Sunday, February 1st, we will experience a rare and radiant alignment - Brigid’s Day, Imbolc, and the Full Snow Moon in Leo all arrive together like old friends returning home. This love note is to honor what you already feel in your bones... that this is no ordinary weekend. It is a portal. A moment meant for deep remembering. February 1st is Brigid’s Day , also known as Lá Fhéile Bríde  and Imbolc, one of the most ancient holy days marking the midway passage between winter and spring. Brigid is the goddess of the hearth, poetry, healing, fire, smithcraft, protection, and fierce becoming. She is the spark beneath the surface that calls us to rise again. Her story reaches back through millennia... from Celtic goddess traditions associated with the Tuatha Dé Danann, through early Christian legend as the abbess of Cill Dara  (Kildare) who founded a spiritual center and kept a perpetual sacred flame burning for centuries, to the present day, where both goddess and saint inspire seekers around the world.  When I was in Ireland and Scotland a couple of years ago, I visited several of the local sites that honor her... walking through beautiful gardens, visiting Solas Bhríde , a Christian spirituality center devoted to her legacy where an eternal flame still burns as a beacon of peace and creativity, and pausing at roadside altars and holy wells tied to her story. These places held a tenderness and strength all at once, and I felt her presence in the land, the water, and the light.  This is the perfect moment to rekindle your own inner flame , the one that may have grown quiet but never truly went out. The one that is exhausted by all that is swirling around us now... and aches for nurturing. And if you want to learn more about Brigid and her many facets, her ancient roots, her modern renaissance, and the ways she continues to call us into remembrance - I invite you to read “ Celebrating Brigid’s Day + Imbolc "... it is a beautiful, deeper dive into her story and her ongoing invitation to us all. Tomorrow, we also experience the Full Snow Moon . As the Moon reaches fullness, her golden light touches the part of you that wants to be seen, expressed, and celebrated. The Leo energy is bold and heart-led, playful and courageous. This Full Moon asks... Where am I holding back? Where do I long to be visible, radiant, free? What would it feel like to lead with love - not fear? Let yourself be warmed by this lunar fire. It is here to illuminate your truth. Here are a few ways I’ll be tending the sacred this weekend - perhaps you’ll join me. Saturday - Preparing Sacred Space Gather a few beloved items... A white candle for Brigid’s flame A gold cloth and a sprig of rosemary A bowl of water and a woven cross made of raffia A stone or crystal that reminds you of your own light Whisper a promise as you light the flame... “I welcome what is awakening in me.” Saturday Evening - Dreaming the Seed With a warm cup of tea in hand, sit with your journal and ask: What do I long to create? What is quietly taking root in my heart? Write it down, fold it gently, and place it beneath your candle overnight. Sunday Morning - Fire and Release As the sun rises, burn a small slip of paper with something you no longer want to carry - an old fear, a tired belief. Then speak this blessing aloud... “Brigid, keeper of flame and forge, walk beside me as I rise.” Sunday Night - Moonlight and Magic When the Full Moon rises, wrap yourself in something golden and stand beneath her light. Place your hand over your heart and say... “I am ready. I am radiant. I am the light I have been waiting for.” Let the Moon fully witness you. Gentle journaling prompts for you... What part of me is ready to awaken? What truth am I ready to express more boldly? What would feel like a brave act of alignment this season? A Final Blessing... May this weekend bring warmth to the quiet parts of you. May Brigid’s fire light the path ahead. May the Moon remind you that you are already whole, already shining. And may you walk forward knowing -you are sacred, seen, and deeply loved. Wrapping you in moonbeams, Here is a poem about Brigid inspired by my time in Glastonbury - while walking the 8-mile pilgrimage with my two beloveds, Molly and Jen. Brigid, Keeper of the Flame for the woman who remembers Brigid, You of the golden braid and iron will, whose hands heal with herbs, you are the threshold between winter’s hush and spring’s first breath. You rise because you are fire... you prepare the path for when the world is ready. You are the hearth flame that gathers the broken, the doula's warmth at the edge of life, the poet’s torch burning through silence with holy words. They call you saint, and goddess, and legend... I know you as sister, as spark in my own bones that says, “yes... create anyway, my beloved. love anyway. speak, even when the world forgets to listen.” You walk with blessings... the sacred well for remembrance, the forge for transformation, the hearth for healing, the milk of life flowing from your open hands. Where you pass, the land softens, the heart stirs, and something ancient begins to bloom again. We became the three hares, spiraling across the land, open to the signs, present in each breath, carrying prayers through mud and mist as if they were offerings of gold. We saw you in the white-tailed deer, in the stone with your name carved into it, in the woman dancing for trees, in the troubadour’s voice that rose just for us at the edge of the Tor. We heard you in the question of the time-walker... we didn’t understand until later, but you were there too, folded in the mystery. Teach us, Brigid, how to carry the flame without burning out, how to be soft and unshakable, how to bless what is broken and birth what is bold. In your name, keepers of light, makers of beauty, daughters of fire... rise.

  • Lunar Alignment: January New Moon

A moment to plant intentions in sacred stillness. As we step into a fresh lunar cycle and a brand new year, the January New Moon invites us to begin again... gently, soulfully, and with deep reverence for what wants to rise from within. This year, you’ll notice a shift here in this sacred space. The Divine Soul Fire blog is entering a new rhythm - one that honors simplicity, depth, and alignment. Each post will be a whisper of moonbeam magic: a mantra to anchor your spirit, a soulful ritual to ground your body, and a reflection to guide your intention. You can always go deeper by sprinkling in the extras I share under the "Take It To 11" section. Beloved, let this be your sacred moment to exhale and return home to yourself. Sacred Mantra: Speak this aloud with intention: “I honor the stillness. I plant in faith. I align with what is becoming.” Soulful Grounding Ritual: Stand barefoot on the earth (or on the floor with intention), place one hand on your heart, one on your womb, and breathe deeply. Whisper your desire to the space between your breaths. Take It to 11: Anoint your third eye and wrists with clary sage or frankincense to awaken spiritual clarity. Place a moonstone or labradorite nearby to enhance intuition. Light a sprig of lavender or mugwort and let the smoke wrap your intention in sacred stillness. New Moon Journal Prompt: What is the one soul-aligned intention you want to honor this month? Write it. Speak it. Embody it. Wrapping you in moonbeams,

  • The Wild Heart of the Wolf Moon

Darling moon lover, The first full moon of 2026 rises as a supermoon, luminous and near, known across ancient traditions as the Wolf Moon. She is doing more than lighting the sky; she is calling us inward... into our instincts, our clarity, and our sacred stillness. She arrives wrapped in winter’s hush, carrying the medicine of sovereign stillness . This is not the stillness of retreat, but the kind that anchors truth. It is the breath before the sacred leap, the space where soul wisdom softens into clarity. We are not meant to chase this year... we are meant to align with it. As her light touches the earth, Artemis walks beside us, wild-eyed and free, reminding us that our clarity lives in our wildness. The Wise Crone sits near the fire, her gaze deep and quiet, whispering that the path reveals itself in the pause. Yemoja flows through our hearts, washing away what we no longer need and blessing us with emotional grace. Tonight, I invite you into a simple, powerful ritual. Brew tea with mugwort or lavender. Light a white candle and hold black moonstone, smoky quartz, or carnelian in your hand. Sit in silence. Feel yourself being breathed. Ask, “What truth is here for me now?” Then write. Let it be raw, messy, honest. Let it be enough. When you're ready, take a slip of paper and write down what you are releasing - fear, self-doubt, anything that dims your wild fire. Dab your wrists with cedar or vetiver oil. Let your body make sound - a whisper, a sigh, a howl - whatever wants to rise. Burn the paper safely. Watch the smoke carry it back to the stars. The herbs are here to walk with you... mugwort for inner vision, lavender for heart healing, cedar for release, vetiver for grounding. Hold this mantra close to your heart: “I honor the stillness within and the fire that waits beneath. I am the howl, the hush, and the holy.” Let it echo through your bones. Let it steady your breath. And if you crave sound to hold your sacred space... Wolf Moon Playlist This is your moon, your moment, your remembering. Let yourself be aligned. Let yourself be awakened. Let yourself be wildly, wholly you. Wrapping you in moonbeams, If you don’t have cedar oil… Use: Pine  - carries similar earthy, protective energy, especially for connecting to nature and inner strength Rosemary  - purifies and brings mental clarity Frankincense  - spiritually grounding and helps open the crown If you don’t have vetiver oil… Use: Patchouli  - earthy and grounding, wonderful for rooting into the body Sandalwood  - calms the nervous system and centers the spirit Myrrh  - deeply grounding and supports inner stillness and sacred space

  • A Love Letter for the Winter Solstice

Honoring the Sacred Threshold of the Returning Light Hello Moon Lover, Today, we step into a sacred threshold. As we move through the final New Moon of the year and prepare for the Winter Solstice, the atmosphere is thick with divine mystery. The air feels slower, the body more sensitive, the soul more receptive. We are entering a holy pause, a place between what has been and what is becoming. The Winter Solstice is the turning of the great wheel, the beginning of a new solar cycle. It is the rebirth of the light, not just in the sky, but within you. In ancient feminine traditions, this was known as the womb of the Great Mother, the deep, dark space where life begins again. You are not meant to have it all figured out. You are meant to be here, breathing, listening, softening. This is not a time to push forward. It is a time to gather your energy, to honor what is complete, to hold yourself in the arms of the Great Mother and whisper,“I trust what is becoming.” This portal is inviting you into embodied presence. It is preparing you to emerge with truth in your bones and light in your belly. You are not lost. You are becoming. These feminine guides walk beside us as we move through this threshold: The Crone   (Global, Universal Archetype)  – She who knows, the elder who has walked lifetimes before. She appears in many cultures as the wise woman, the midwife of mystery, the one who sits at the threshold. She teaches us to surrender to the unknown and trust the wisdom that comes not from doing, but from being. Hestia   (Ancient Greece)  – Goddess of the hearth; the sacred flame that never flickers. She calls us inward to tend to the temple of our soul, reminding us that quiet presence is a revolutionary act and that the most enduring power lives in stillness. The Priestess   (Sacred Role across Ancient Civilizations: Egypt, Sumer, Avalon, and beyond)  – She who sees with the eyes of the unseen. From temple keepers of Isis in Egypt to oracles of Delphi and the veiled women of Avalon, the Priestess teaches us to honor intuition, to speak from soul, and to carry the codes of remembrance into the new cycle. Cailleach   (Celtic, Scotland and Ireland)  – The Winter Hag, guardian of the void. She strips away illusion and blesses the land with stillness. Her cold winds cleanse and clarify, leaving only what is meant to endure. She holds the power of seasonal death and the wisdom of ancient times. Persephone   (Greek Mythology)  – Queen of the Underworld, daughter of Spring. Her descent and return mark the cycle of transformation. She teaches that rebirth requires the dark, and through her journey, we learn to walk the liminal path of soul-deep evolution and emergence. Rituals and sacred tools to gather in honor of the Solstice... 1. Womb of Light Ceremony: Create space with candles, crystals, and herbs. Light your candle and sit in silence. Place one hand over your heart and the other over your womb. Breathe deeply. Whisper what you are ready to release. Speak what you long to embody. “In this sacred dark, I remember who I am becoming.” 2. Earth Gratitude Offering: Hold a pine sprig or cone, and write a letter of gratitude to the year that is closing. Thank the lessons, the losses, the love. Bury the letter beneath a tree or place it on your altar. “I honor all that brought me here. I walk forward with grace.” Crystals Black Tourmaline – Grounding and protection Clear Quartz – Soul clarity and amplification Garnet – Rooted strength and inner vitality Herbs Mugwort – Dreamwork and inner vision Cedar – Clearing and ancestral connection Lavender – Emotional ease and heart soothing Mantra to repeat throughout the weekend... “I honor the dark. I receive the light. I trust what is rising in me.” ❄️ A Winter Solstice Blessing ❄️ May you feel held in the womb of winter, May your spirit be kindled by quiet grace, May what is ending be released with love, And may the light returning be the light within you. With tenderness, reverence, and deep love, A Ritual I Love... and an Invitation to Join Me On the longest night of the year, I return to a simple practice of intention and surrender. It’s never too late to begin - even now. 🌑 Write down 13 wishes or intentions, one for each month of the year ahead - plus one! 🌀 Fold them, and place them somewhere safe. 🔥 For the twelve nights after Solstice, choose one at random each night and burn it (safely). As each one burns, release it. You’ve named it. You’ve let it go. The rest is not yours to control. At the end of the twelve nights, one final slip will remain. This is the one you tend to - the one you protect, nurture, and align with. It becomes your north star. A reminder that some things are ours to build with steady hands... And some are meant to unfold in their own mysterious time. Long nights. Small flames. Quiet intentions.

I release the words that no longer serve me.” Burn the pieces or bury them in the earth, then place a hand over your throat and breathe. • Where Shadow Meets Seed

Dearest Moon Lover, As the veil of night deepens and the quiet hush of November settles in, I’m feeling the sacred stillness of this New Moon. She arrives tonight, cloaked in mystery and deep wisdom. This is not a moon of noise or grandeur. She speaks in whispers, in intuitive pulses, in the knowing that lives beneath the surface. This lunar moment is a call inward, into the fertile soil of the self. It’s a time to unearth what’s been buried, to plant new seeds of becoming, and to root into the silence that holds us steady. It’s a moon for deep listening, for shadow tending, and for honoring the parts of us that are still growing in the dark. Three Women Who Walk With This Moon 1. Hecate  – Keeper of thresholds, crossroads, and moonlit mystery. Hecate reminds us that wisdom often waits in the shadows. She helps us see in the dark, trust our intuition, and choose with inner clarity. 2. Lilith  – Wild, untamed, unapologetic. Lilith calls us to reclaim what we’ve denied or exiled in ourselves. She holds fierce space for truth, boundaries, and self-sovereignty. 3. Mary Magdalene  – Sacred heart, intuitive teacher, emotional alchemist. She reminds us that healing is holy, and that through devotion to our inner truth, we become whole again. Ritual One: The Shadow Offering Create a quiet space. Light a single black or dark-hued candle. Sit in stillness with your journal and write down all that feels heavy, hidden, or hard to hold right now. Let it come through freely. Then, one by one, read each truth aloud and say: "I honor you. I release you."  Burn or bury the paper in a fire-safe vessel or in the earth. Anoint yourself with vetiver or myrrh oil, and rest with Smoky Quartz or Black Tourmaline to ground. Ritual Two: Heart Seed Intention Begin by placing your hands over your heart. Breathe slowly and fully. Ask yourself: What new truth wants to take root in me? Write your answer on a small piece of parchment. Create a small bowl or dish of soil, herbs like mugwort or lavender, and place a crystal such as Moonstone or Carnelian on top. Bury your written intention in the soil. Keep this altar through the moon cycle as a reminder of what you are tending. Crystals, Herbs & Oils Crystals: Black Tourmaline  – for protection and energetic clearing Smoky Quartz  – for grounding and gentle release Moonstone  – for intuition, new beginnings, and emotional flow Carnelian  – for courage, vitality, and creative ignition Herbs: Mugwort  – for dreamwork, intuition, and ancestral connection Lavender  – for calm, clarity, and heart soothing Sage  – for purification and space clearing Rose  – for heart healing, self-love, and sacred beauty Oils: Myrrh  – for spiritual depth and emotional release Vetiver  – for grounding and nervous system support Sandalwood  – for meditation and soul presence Patchouli  – for embodiment, sensuality, and root chakra anchoring Reflective Journal Prompts What truth within me have I been afraid to voice, and what would it feel like to speak it aloud? Where in my life am I being called to choose myself more fully? What am I ready to release, not with force, but with sacred permission? Grounding Mantra "I trust the dark to reveal what the light cannot. I am safe, I am whole, I am becoming." May this New Moon be a gentle descent into truth, and a sacred rising into your next becoming. I’ll be sitting in the dark with you, listening, releasing, and dreaming new roots into being. With moonlight and devotion,

  • Rooted Richness Under the Full Beaver Supermoon

Beloved Sister, Tonight, we celebrate the Full Beaver Supermoon. This is no ordinary Full Moon... It’s the closest one to Earth this year! It is a supermoon that amplifies everything: our desires, our emotions, our intentions, our connection. Rising in the steady, sensual sign of Taurus, this moon invites us to slow down, root in, and receive. The theme we’re holding for this moon is: Rooted Richness . It’s about honoring what you’ve built... inside and out. It’s about claiming your worth, not because you earned it, but because you are it . You are the treasure. As we enter this season of gathering, I want you to know: Your growth is real. Your beauty is undeniable. Your presence is a gift. Here is our mantra for this Full Moon: “I am rooted in my truth and radiant in my becoming.” Let it echo through your heart as you breathe beneath the stars. Love to journal? Here are a few reflective prompts to get you started... What does abundance look and feel like in my life right now? Where am I ready to receive more... more pleasure, rest, love, softness? What sacred thing within me wants to be honored and tended? Here are three of my favorite wise women to walk with... Which one calls you? Who will you learn more about during this Full Moon? Gaia - Earth Mother, Our Grounding and Stability Gaia is the primal Mother Earth - creator, nourisher, and protector of all life. In Greek mythology, she was born from chaos and gave birth to the sky, sea, and land. But beyond myth, Gaia lives in every root system, river flow, heartbeat, and inhale. She teaches us to ground ourselves in the present, to listen to the cycles of nature as sacred truth, and to trust that all things are connected. In moments of overwhelm or uncertainty, she reminds us: you belong here . Working with Gaia is a call to deepen your connection to your body, to tend to the soil of your soul, and to know that stability is not resistance - it’s sacred rhythm. Aphrodite - Venus in Her Lush, Magnetic Form Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, sensuality, and desire... and an avatar of Venus herself. Often misunderstood as a shallow seductress, Aphrodite’s true power lies in her unapologetic embodiment. She reminds us that pleasure is sacred, that beauty is not a vanity but a frequency, and that self-worth blooms from within. In her presence, we’re invited to reclaim the power of our longing, to tend to our inner magnetism, and to allow softness to be a form of strength. Aphrodite teaches us how to adorn ourselves with our own affection and to meet the world from a place of radiant self-devotion. Mary Magdalene - Keeper of Sacred Presence and Embodied Wisdom Mary Magdalene is a mystic of the heart, a teacher of unconditional presence, and a symbol of the Divine Feminine resurrected. Long dismissed and distorted by religious tradition, she now rises in spiritual circles as a priestess of compassion, embodiment, and truth. Mary Magdalene teaches us that sacredness resides in the body, that grief and grace can coexist, and that our presence is inherently healing. She walks with women who are reclaiming their voice, their softness, and their spiritual power. Under the full moon, her whisper may sound like this: You are worthy of sacred love - not just from others, but from within. Call on one, or all, to be with you tonight. Here are a couple of options to weave into your ceremony: 1. The Pleasure & Presence Ritual Create a moonlit moment just for you. Light a candle, wear something soft and beautiful, and anoint yourself with rose or sandalwood oil. Sit with your favorite tea, journal, or simply your breath. Whisper: I receive. I deserve. I am whole. 2. The Root & Release Fire Ritual Write down anything you’re releasing... old fears, self-doubt, scarcity stories. Burn it (safely!) in a fireproof bowl, then bury the ashes or scatter them in nature. Let the earth transmute it all. Here are a few crystal options to use: Moonstone: For intuition, feminine flow, lunar connection Carnelian: For courage, warmth, and grounded passion Green Aventurine: For heart-centered abundance and prosperity Dearest one, you are not alone on this path. I am circling with you... in spirit, in breath, in radiant alignment. May this moonlight fill your cup, ignite your joy, and remind you just how deeply held you are. We rise together. We root together. We bloom in our own sacred time. With so much love and moon-blessed magic, For those who want to stargaze under her moonlight tonight... Here is a poem you can read to her! Beloved Moon, You rise again, round and near and my heart swells to meet you. You’ve watched me quietly through endings and awakenings, through the soft becoming of who I am now. In your glow, I remember the parts of me I’ve buried... the sensual, the wild, the wise. You don’t ask me to be more. You simply shine, and somehow that gives me permission to do the same. Tonight, I offer you my fullness... Not perfect, true. Not polished, powerful. Hold me in your light. Remind me I am whole. Remind me I belong.

  • A Love Note Beneath the Harvest Supermoon

I was sitting outside last night, and the Moon's glow felt so alive... It was pulsing with the energy of awakening, courage, and clarity. Tonight, she is no ordinary Full Moon... she is both the Harvest Moon and a Supermoon, illuminating our paths with amplified golden light and truth. This moon invites us into sovereignty. The kind defined by flow and freedom... The deep, embodied sovereignty of a woman who knows her essence. She moves in resonance with her truth, her heart, and her highest alignment. This kind of fiery energy stirs our inner warrior and calls forth action from a place of integrity. Under this brilliant light, we are reminded that claiming our power is an act of love. Here are a few rituals to consider as you honor this Supermoon... 1. Make Moon Water in Your Crystal Vessel Place a glass bowl or bottle of pure water beneath the moonlight outside (if possible), or on a windowsill where the moonbeams can touch it. Add crystals such as clear quartz for clarity, rose quartz for love, or carnelian for courage. Ways to use your moon water: Use it to make your morning coffee or tea Add it to a bath for emotional renewal Sprinkle it in your workspace or home for harmony Water your plants as an offering back to the Earth Whisper an intention as you set it out: "Infuse this water with the resonance of my truth and the sovereignty of my spirit." 2. Let Your Tools Soak in the Moonbeams Lay out your sacred tools, such as crystals, jewelry, card decks, journals, pens, or any other items you use in your Work. Allow them to bathe in the moonlight, cleansing and charging them with new energy. In the morning, bring them inside and say: "You are cleansed, charged, and aligned with my highest vibration." 3. Write a Love Letter to the Moon Find a quiet space, light a candle, and write a letter to Luna as if she were your most trusted confidante. Thank her for her guidance, share what you are ready to release, and speak your dreams into being. Not feeling creative, and still want to read a love note to the moon? Here is one for you: Dearest Moon, You have witnessed my evolution, my softening, and my rise. You’ve watched me shed skins I once clung to, and step into new chapters that both terrify and thrill me. I stand here now, somewhere between endings and beginnings... no longer who I was, not yet who I am becoming. Tonight, I release the stories that have dimmed my light and the fears that have held me small. I surrender anything that disrupts my resonance or clouds my sovereignty. I allow the ache of change to become a sacred rhythm, trusting that every unraveling is an opening. May your radiant glow cleanse me and remind me that transformation is sacred, and that this too is part of my becoming. With devotion and gratitude, Me 4. Learn from the Warrior Goddesses This Supermoon carries the essence of the divine feminine warrior... courageous, wise, and heart-led. Three goddesses guide us through this moon's fire: Artemis : This Greek Huntress of the moon and protector of the wild feminine embodies independence and intuition. Sekhmet : This Egyptian lioness goddess weaves fierce compassion, sacred rage, and truth as medicine. Athena : This wise Grecian strategist led with clarity and grace, teaching us that true power flows through alignment. Invoke them through movement, prayer, or stillness. Let their presence remind you that strength can be both tender and unyielding. A mantra to carry with you... I stand in the sovereignty of my light. My truth hums in perfect resonance with the cosmos. I am aligned, illuminated, and free. May this Harvest Supermoon awaken your inner flame, clarify your path, and remind you of the sacred rhythm that lives within you. You are not separate from the Moon’s brilliance... You are a reflection of it. Wrapping you in moonbeams,

  • Embracing the September Full Blood Moon

The September Full Blood Moon is here, and wow… she’s coming in strong. Even though we won’t see the eclipse (it’ll be hidden from our North American skies), we’ll definitely feel it. Even though we are not able to watch her turn red, her energy will be touching every part of us. The moon always has a way of working her magic, seen or unseen. This Full Corn Moon feels like a big exhale. A release. A chance to drop the heavy stuff we’ve been carrying and step into something lighter, freer, more aligned with who we actually are. Think of this full moon as a call to surrender... to let go of what no longer feeds you. It’s about truth, clarity, and transformation. With the eclipse energy woven in, there’s this extra nudge to trust that endings are sacred, disguised beginnings. Word of the moon: LIBERATION . (Simply saying the word out loud feels sooooo good!) Here are some of the elements supporting me that you may want to incorporate: Crystals: Labradorite for transformation + intuitive guidance Smoky Quartz for letting go of fear and heaviness Rose Quartz for softening into compassion and self-love Oils and Herbs: Mugwort  → dreamwork + intuition Sage  → clearing old energy Cedarwood oil  → grounding + steadying Rose oil  → tender self-love Rituals to choose from: 1. Release Fire Ritual Write down what you’re done carrying. Light a candle. Burn your list safely, whispering: “I release what is no longer mine to carry. I rise in liberation.” Bury the ashes in the earth. 2. Eclipse Dream Ritual Slip mugwort or lavender under your pillow with a crystal (labradorite or smoky quartz). Set an intention for clarity before sleep. In the morning, jot down dreams, symbols, or feelings that came through. I love weaving women into my monthly ceremonies. So many of their stories have been forgotten or demonized over the years... Here are three to learn about this month! Persephone: Persephone is the goddess who journeys into the underworld each year, reminding us that descent is part of the cycle of life. She teaches us that even in darkness, seeds are planted and transformation is quietly happening. Her story is one of rebirth, resilience, and the wisdom that comes from walking between worlds. Kali Ma: Kali Ma is the fierce mother goddess who clears away illusion and fear, making space for truth to rise. Though her energy can feel wild and intense, she is ultimately the liberator, breaking chains and protecting what is sacred. She invites us to face what must end so that new life can flourish. Sojourner Truth: Sojourner Truth was a courageous abolitionist and women’s rights advocate who spoke with unwavering strength. She reclaimed her voice in a time when women, especially Black women, were silenced, and she used it to ignite change. Her legacy is a living mantra of courage, justice, and the power of truth-telling. A magical mantra to weave into your days: “I release with love, I rise in alignment, I walk in freedom.” Journal prompts to inspire reflection... What weight am I finally ready to set down? Where am I being called to walk more in truth? How can I honor both the endings and the new beginnings unfolding now? Beloved, this moon isn’t asking for perfection... She’s asking you to let go of what’s heavy and trust that freedom is waiting on the other side. Even though we can’t see her eclipse, we’re still in it. We’re still shifting. You’re aligned, you’re awakening, and you’re free. With love under this moon,

  • Alignment in Motion: New Moon, Eclipse, and Equinox Reflections

Beloved, As I write this under our Creator's misty sky here in Sonoma, I feel the divine braid of energy formed by three sacred threads weaving together right now: the New Moon, the Partial Solar Eclipse, and the Autumnal Equinox. Each one brings its own invitation, its own medicine... and together they form a tapestry urging us toward balance, renewal, and clarity. I want to share what I’m hearing, what I’m feeling, and invite you to honor this moment alongside me, as you wish, in whatever way calls you home. Let me share a bit about each event... This New Moon's energy is earthy, precise, devoted... and invites us to tend to what is unseen: our routines, our inner criteria for worth, our relationship to service and healing. It whispers... this is a time to get honest with yourself about what you really  need, what you keep doing out of habit rather than heart, and what subtle refinements would bring more ease, more sanctity, more sovereignty. It asks for discernment, sacred dedication, and aligned integrity... and reminds you that perfection is not the goal. Now, for the Partial Solar Eclipse... An eclipse magnifies shadows, bringing old patterns to light. With this partial Solar Eclipse, there is potent power in release, particularly of perfectionism, unworthiness, and the old stories that say you are only enough when you are flawless. It’s a portal, a time when what you’re ready to leave behind can drop away more easily. Use its strength. It also asks for patience, because transformations begun under eclipse energy ripple forward in time. And finally, our beloved Autumnal Equinox. Here comes balance, light and dark in equilibrium, the shift from summer’s abundance to autumn’s harvest, and the slow shift inward. The Equinox asks us to pause, to gather, to reflect on what has ripened, what has fallen, what needs gathering in, and what needs letting go. It reminds us of cycles: growth, bloom, decay, rest. It is a threshold itself, the pivot from outward light toward shadows, a gentle reminder that the harvest is not only in the fields but in the soul. As I reflect on the common threads of these events and the message they bring, here is what is coming to me: Balance between light & shadow : The Equinox and the eclipse both heighten this tension. The New Moon helps us see what we’ve been hiding or ignoring. Harvest & release : This is the season of harvesting. We are now harvesting what has been sown... habits, beliefs, relationships. The Equinox underscores release. The eclipse amplifies letting go. Integrity over perfection : The New Moon reminds us that our desire for perfection, when held lightly, becomes a guide rather than a shackle. The eclipse shakes up rigidity. The Equinox reminds us that what matters most is truth, not polish. Thresholds & new beginnings : The New Moon and Eclipse open doorways. The Equinox signals a turning, a shifting of seasons, of perspective, of pace. Refinement & inner work : All three call us deeply inward. To sift, sort, prioritize, and align with what is soulful. A collective reminder to breathe. Three women who represent different aspects of this seasonal shift are on my mind right now... Demeter: Goddess of harvest, of cycles, of life’s rhythms. As Virgo connects to harvest and purification, Demeter’s story reminds us to honor cycles of loss and return, of letting go and then finding strength again. Persephone: Queen of the Underworld and springtime’s return. She straddles worlds... light and dark, life and death, descent and rebirth. Her journey mirrors the eclipse’s descent into shadow, and the Equinox’s equal day and night before the tilt into darker months. Persephone is Demeter's daughter... and their story holds every emotion. Hypatia: Mathematician, philosopher, teacher. A symbol of intellect and devotion to clarity, truth, and wisdom, even when the world pushed against her. Her essence reflects what these energies call forth... refinement, truth, and fierce grace. A mantra to hold close: “In perfect imperfection, I stand in my truth, rooted in balance, open to transformation.” Here are a couple of rituals to choose from... 1: Harvest & Release Lanterns Create a simple space to reflect. Gather a candle or two, some fallen leaves (or paper), and any crystals you’re drawn to. Take a few quiet moments to breathe, ground, and reflect. With paper and pen, write down what you’re ready to release, old habits, inner criticisms, outdated stories, as well as what you feel deep gratitude for in this season of harvest. When you're ready, tear or burn the leaves/paper safely and place the remnants into a bowl of water, letting them dissolve. Light a lantern or candle as a symbol of what you now choose to call in, and speak your new intentions aloud. Close your ritual with a word of thanks to the moon, the season, the Divine, or your own sacred self. 2: Equinox-Minute Meditation + Body Alignment Find a comfortable seat, ideally facing East. Imagine golden light above you and the grounding earth below. Begin a breath rhythm, inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4, and repeat until you feel centered. Let your body move in whatever gentle ways it needs, stretch, sway, twist, or rest. Use an essential oil like cedar or frankincense to anoint your pulse points, letting the scent guide you inward. Hold your chosen crystals and whisper the mantra, allowing it to settle into your body and spirit. Crystals, Herbs & Essential Oils that I am exploring... Crystals:  Moss Agate, Moonstone, Smoky Quartz, Citrine Herbs:  Rosemary, Sage, Mugwort, Lavender Essential Oils:  Frankincense, Cedar, Sandalwood, Vetiver Here are a few reflective journal prompts... What have I harvested this season (within, around me, in my work, relationships, spirit) that I want to deeply acknowledge and give thanks for? What stories or beliefs have I carried that now feel heavy, unnecessary, or misaligned with who I am becoming... and what would it look like to release them? As I move into balance between the light and the dark, what strengths can I bring forward that may have been hidden, undervalued, or even shamed... with gentleness and courage? Tonight, I plan to light a candle by my window, hold my Moss Agate in hand, and make space to write what this cycle has taught me... especially about where I am still chasing perfection or allowing hustle to lead and how I can instead step into flow and trust . I’ll breathe in the Equinox’s balance, feeling dusk and dawn poised, imagining my heart held between them. And even though I won't be able to see the eclipse’s shadow here in Sonoma, I’ll offer gentle release to old self-judgments. I’d love for you to join me in whatever way feels sacred, whether you light a candle for yourself, take a moment under the divine sky, journal by lantern light, or simply whisper the mantra into a mirror. You and I both deserve the medicine available in this powerful alignment. With love and starlight...

  • Fire Meets Earth: My Birthday and the Virgo New Moon

Today, I stand at the threshold of a sacred convergence: my birthday and the Virgo New Moon - a celestial duet of renewal and radiant becoming. I couldn't imagine not sharing this moment with you, my beloved soul circle. Consider this a love letter from my heart to yours. The New Moon always invites beginnings. But this one? It’s personal. It’s a soft, steady pulse rising within my chest... a drumbeat calling me home to deeper alignment, to clarified devotion, to the luminous path I choose to walk in this next chapter of life. Virgo, the high priestess of the zodiac, governs this lunation. She speaks in sacred patterns, gentle refinement, and earthy rituals. She teaches me (and maybe you too?) to honor structure not as restriction but as devotion to infuse our days with meaning, to serve from an anchored heart, to tend to what matters. And as Leo season bows to Virgo’s grace, I feel both my fire and my focus harmonizing. This is not just a birthday, but a rebirth ... a sacred invitation to step into greater resonance, presence, and truth.
